Take-home pay after Budget 2027
Last updated 16 October 2026
What €40,000, €60,000 and €100,000 salaries take home in 2026 and 2027, worked out to the cent with the new bands, credits and USC.
For a single person paid the same every week, with the standard credits:
| Salary | Take-home 2026 | Take-home 2027 | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| €40,000 | €33,572.11 | €33,778.18 | €206.07 |
| €60,000 | €44,924.77 | €45,600.81 | €676.04 |
| €100,000 | €64,531.90 | €65,148.01 | €616.11 |
The gains come from the wider 20% band, the €125 rise in credits and the wider 2% USC band. The scheduled PRSI rise each October takes some of it back.
