Tax on commission
Commission is taxed as pay, at your marginal rate (the rate on your next euro), in the period it's paid.
Commission paid by an employer goes through payroll like salary. A big commission month can mean a lot of tax taken that month. But each payslip looks at your whole year so far (the cumulative basis), so it evens out across the year.
If your commission goes up and down a lot, check your tax in myAccount when the year ends. You may be due a refund if credits went unused in quieter months.
