Two jobs: how credits and band are shared
Your credits and 20% band can be split between jobs. If they all go to one, the other is taxed at 40%.
You only get one set of credits and one 20% band, however many jobs you have. Revenue gives them to your main job unless you tell it otherwise. A second job then gets none, so its pay is taxed at 40% with no credits, even if you don't earn much in total.
In myAccount, you can move some of your credits and band to the second job. Over the year, the total tax is the same. What changes is when you pay it.
