Why your PAYE changed

Your income tax deduction changes when your credits, band or basis change.

Your income tax depends on the credits and band in your payroll notification, and on the cumulative basis. Revenue sends your employer a new notification when you claim a credit, move credits between jobs or start a new year. It changes the tax taken from your next payday.
