Revenue Payroll Notification (RPN)
The electronic instruction Revenue sends your employer with your credits and rate band.
Your employer must get a Revenue Payroll Notification (RPN) before running payroll for you. Without one, they have to apply emergency tax. A new RPN is issued whenever your credits change, for example after you claim a credit in myAccount.
