Health insurance as a benefit
Employer-paid health insurance is a taxable benefit, but you can claim tax relief on it.
The premium your employer pays is added to your pay as a benefit in kind (a taxed perk). You then get tax relief at 20% on the premium, up to limits, through your tax credits.
